VIDEO PLANNING

• DOOR- The door is my main prop for the video as this is how the artist visits the different locations. I think that the door will create a sense of mystery as it will keep the audience on edge as they will want to see what location she walks into next. The door being outside will create more of an indie feel about it which will relate to the audience of my video as well as the artist herself.
• NECKLACE- The silver necklace used will create elegance about the video which is what I want the video to portray. The heart will symbolise love which is a key theme throughout my video and represents the meaning of that my song is about. This small prop will signify this element to the audience, as well as creating a more romantic feel to the video. 
• DENIM JACKET- As well as this being a prop in my video it is something that the artist will eventually wear so is very important. It creates a very indie feel which will relate to the artist herself and the audience.  It also creates a more edgy feel which will help to convey the artist as being powerful as at the end of the video she realises she needs to be strong and leave the past behind her. This will draw the audience in as it will highlight that the artist is a strong and powerful role model as well as the jacket reinforcing the indie style. 
• CONVERSE- The shoe is again a very important prop as she finds the shoe in a place she visits and puts it on, linking back to her memories. The type of shoe also creates that younger appeal and creates a more edgy vibe however the white colour still relates that purity and elegance to her. 

• MAXI-SKIRT- The long skirt that the artist will be wearing throughout most of the video will help to reinforce that indie influence but will still create that elegance and romantic feel to the video. This is because the long skirt will flow nicely which gives that elegance about the artist which will link to the female base audience. 
• GREEN CROP TOP- The colour green has connotations of nature which will therefore link to the indie genre of my video and the style of the artist. The crop top style will create that edgy appeal and will work well with the longer skirt.  This is because it will mean that the artist will show a bit of skin which is a stereotypical costume idea of females in music videos however the skirt can be pulled up so that not the wrong impression is perceived. 
• LONG NECKLACE- The artist will be wearing a long, colourful necklace so that the indie style is reinforced throughout the video. It will also create a more feminine appeal which will relate to the audience.
• SHORT PJ'S- At the start of the video the artist will be in pjs to reflect her everyday life so that it will relate to the audience more.  The shorts and T-shirt style will also reflect the artists girly side which will again draw the audience in of females. 

• HAIR- For the hair, I want the artist to have her hair down in a lose wavy or curly style. This will create a more messy effect which will link to the indie style of my video but however will still create the girly and more female appeal. I also think that having the artist's hair down completely will mean that it could blow in the wind when I film outside which could work really well. 
• MAKEUP- I want the artist to have minimum makeup so it doesn't create the wrong impression about the video. I want the artist to appear innocent and elegant and the nude lip and pink eyeshadow will help to create that effect. I think that the colour pink will instantly create that romantic appeal as well as appearing very feminine which will link to the female base audience.
